Who Broke the Australian Dream? SOLD! Documentary Screening and Discussion

Last week alongside Everybody's Home we hosted a film screening in Sydney's West for SOLD! Who Broke the Australian Dream? - a powerful new film that shines a light on how our housing system has been shaped by politics, profit, and policy failure. The team behind the production of SOLD! includes award-winning journalists, doco makers, comedians and renters. Mark Humphries, comedian and narrator of the film, investigates Australia's housing crisis, uncovering the policies which supercharged the housing market, the solutions at hand, and one big revelation that might just fix it.
After the film Mark, alongside Leo Patterson Ross, CEO of the Tenants' Union of NSW, Joyda Zinck, passionate tenant advocate from South West Sydney Tenants Advice and Advocacy Service and Maiy Azize, national spokesperson for Everybody's Home hosted a panel discussion to explore what can be done right now to fix the housing crisis.
This is more than a film - it’s a movement. Together, we can make housing fair again.
